Email newsletter wordpress plugin have option to send HTML Mails/Newsletters to registered user, we can send mail to comment posted user, and we can set the separate email subscriber form in front end.
Sending email is much cheaper than most other forms of communication. Email marketing has proven very successful for those who do it right. There is no configuration in this plugin. After activated the plugin you can start send mail to your users.
Sometimes you want an easy way to e-mail all the people who registered, commented on the website, now it’s as easy as installing this plug-in.

Error code
Deprecated: Function set_magic_quotes_runtime() is deprecated. If you got this warning message in WAMP in the front end on submit! don’t worry Guarantee that the warning message will not come into your live server.
Live demo : See the email subscribe box in the sidebar; all the subscribed emails has been stored into admin database. Any time admin can compose and send mail/newsletter to all the subscribed emails. Also we can send the newsletter to all registered emails, commented posted emails, also I have integrated the simple contact form wordpress plugin with this newsletter plugin. This plug-in broadly consider five option
Compose email
This is the first step for this plug-in, before sending mail to user, first we have to compose the mail using this page, once you created the mail content from this page, the created mail subject displayed automatically in the send mail page.
Send mail to registered user
This page is to send mail to all registered user, in this page you can find the all registered users email with check box option, if you don’t want to send mail to any particular user(s), you can uncheck the email(s) from the list, after you selected the users from the list select the email subject and click send mail button.
Send mail to comment posted user
This page is to send mail to all comment posted user, in this page you can find all the comment posted user(s) email with check box option, if you don’t want to send mail to any particular user(s), you can uncheck the email from the list, after you selected the users from the list select the email subject and click send mail button.
Send mail to subscribed user
From version 4.0 we have new option to subscribe the emails. After activated the plugin drag and drop the email newsletter widget to your sidebar, this will create the email subscribe form in the front end. With this form user can subscribe the email(s) to our newsletter.
In the admin we have link “Send mail to subscribed user”; From this menu we can send email to subscribed user(s). In this page admin can see all the subscribed users email id with check-box option. Admin can check/un-check the user and can send the email to subscribed user(s).
In the “View subscribed user” admin menu. we can see all the subscribed user email list.
Send mail to simple contact form emails
This is the new option. In my plugin list you can find the “simple contact form” WordPress plugin. Simple contact form just store the entered details in the admin to view, with the help of this email newsletter plugin you can send the email to those contact list.
Simply saying; i have integrated the email newsletter wordpress plugin & simple contact form wordpress plugin into this page.
Download and set up the simple contact form wordpress plugin to use this feature. If you don’t want simple contact form; Simply omit this menu.
Do you want to display statistics report for your website? use Graphical statistics report WordPress plugin.
Installation instruction & configuration
Method 1
- Download the plugin email-newsletter.zip from download location.
- Unpack the email-newsletter.zip file
- Extract the /email-newsletter/ folder.
- Drop the email-newsletter folder into your ‘wp-content/plugins’ folder.
- In word press administration panels, click on plug-in from the menu.
- You should see your new email newsletter plug-in listed.
- To turn the word presses plug-in on, click activate.
Method 2
- Go to ‘add new’ menu under ‘plugins’ tab in your word-press admin.
- Search email newsletter plugin using search option.
- Find the plugin and click ‘Install Now’ link.
- Finally click activate plug-in link to activate the plug-in.
Method 3
- Download the plugin email-newsletter.zip from download location.
- Go to ‘add new’ menu under ‘plugins’ tab in your word press admin.
- Select upload link (top link menu).
- Upload the available email-newsletter.zip file and click install now.
- Finally click activate plug-in link to activate the plug-in.

No, here we don’t have any HTML EDITOR to design the newsletter. design your newsletter somewhere and use that code in compose mail area.

However, I have a question: for a WP arcade blog, can we send newsletters with arcade game thumbs, descriptions and links embeded in such newsletters to the members of the blog? Can such game information be taken automatically or semi-automatically from the database of the blog into such newsletters?

Is there a way to “hide” the e-mail addresses in the “To” field of the received e-mail (so that, for example, recipient A won’t be able to see the e-mail address of recipients B and C)? Kind of similar to using BCC…

I noticed with this plugin that all registered users get access to it through their “settings” even when registering as a subscriber. Is there a way to make this only available to the admin of the site and not all subscribers?
I’ve just noticed the same thing as Lisa, -and deactivated the plugin. As it stood, anyone could register and have full access to my mailing list. I’ve promised my members I won’t divulge their info to anyone, so clearly I can’t use this plugin.

hello there! is there a possibility to email the newsletter only to the users that subscribed to the newsletter? i mean they are neither registered users nor users that commented on the site. if i keep them in a separate table in the wp database, can i tell the plugin to take only the users in that table?

We need a simpler solution to avoid any user to have access to send emails. The one above is too complex for simple wordpress users.
Also another problem is that it doesn’t respect line spaces between paragraphs. Any idea why?

Works great except that it send the mail 3 times while I only push on the send button once. Any idea how to solve that? I wouldn’t want to flood customers with the same email over and over again

No, I only clicked once, but I created a new user for testing and indeed, this one only got 1 mail. Looks like for some reason the previous tester , which was the admin actually, got 3 mails of which 2 via an indirect way.

Feature request: option to write a non-html message? Now I have to use html code to get a link working and I have to add to set a paragraph.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the html option but sometimes you just want to send a regular email.

Hello, a great plugin, but I don’t know if it’s the same that in french but many people use hotmail (hotmail.com and hotmail.fr), and I can’t send message to us.
I use a free web host (free.fr) it’s a french ISP (I’m not sure about the ISP word)
But other mail free.fr or gmail it’s ok.

Hi, interesting plugin, however, I don’t see any emails list from my registered users. I have a website with more than 500 registered users but When i send email, 0 users received an email.

I had the same problem I think perhaps because my site was originally upgraded from WP MU. The plugin is looking for the users table using the table prefix ‘wp_1_’ however my users table didn’t have that prefix so I hard coded the select statement in the file email-to-registered-user.php to ‘select user_nicename,user_email from wp_users WHERE spam = 0 and deleted = 0 ORDER BY user_nicename’
I love the plugin, but I can’t get it to work with go daddy shared hosting.
the said to make sure I have the correct server information. Mails sent from their shared hosting. should use the server name

I thought it would be nice to be able to filter by role – say you just wanted to mail administrators, or members, etc. I changed the sql select in email-to-registered-user.php and added &filter=administrator (or whatever) to the admin the url.

I really love the idea of this app
I have a problem though.
First I can’t seem to get away any emails…I have tried hotmail and gmail accounts but none of them works.
Its not a mail server problem cause prior to sending these mails I created the members who were about to get the newsletter and they received there emails regarding login info etc.
As for advice of implementations.
It would be great if you could easily change which members are to get the emails. That would wrap things up much quicker.
Looking forward to some advice as what could be wrong.

I really like the plug in, but one suggestion that would be extremely helpful. It would be nice to have a test email to your self to see the email, or a preview before sending the email

My plugin has stopped working though nothing has been changed. This happened previously for a day and then it started working again, however currently I have been unable to send emails for three days. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi! Great plugin, thank you very much! Only one suggestion: Id be good to add information about the quantity of subscribers we have (I don´t want to count them one by one, ha).
I want an option to limit the mails sent per hour as the hosting provider limit is 500 mails per hour and my list has 10000 email ids.
Can it be done.
Now there is no option to limit the mail. but u can uncheck the check box manually. i ll try to implement this option in the next version.

My problem is I didn’t see the plugin home page and other page in the Settings(admin menu) after I activate the email newsletter? The wordpress is 3.0.1. Readme file tells me it will work on this version.

I am starting to use your Newsletter plug-in on my website, and noticed that a URL in the Newsletter, email message is not tagged as link in the composed email message. As a result some users, depending on their email program, cannot click on the URL as requested to jump to the web site. Is there a way to create a link in a Newsletter email?
Hi, Create the newsletter in any the HTML editor (Editor not available in this plugin) and paste the HTML code into mail compose text-area and save and send the newsletter..
Is there a way to code in HTML a personalized message? Like include the user name or email address in the message per user? There is ways in most email programs for mail merge, but I was wondering if this is something that is available with this. BTW I LOVE THIS PLUGIN!!! It makes my life so much easier.

Just installed your plugin and tested, everything working okay but I see all e-mail addresses from subscribers. Is there any way that the only e-mail address that shows is there individual subscriber. Many users do NOT want this information avalable to others.

2) Add an auto queu that limits emails that are send out. To avoid the spamfilter of hotmail and other mailservers. Every 10 min or so the next 100 will be send out. Something like that?

I installed this plugin a couple of weeks ago and worked PERFECTLY!… I’ve been impressed!
However, after seeing an exciting update today I decided I’d install it…
I tested it out and sent myself a test HTML newsletter email (one I have previously used with no problem)… only since this update it doesn’t appear as HTML?
I deactivated the plugin, deleted it, reinstalled it and it is still the same…
Hope this is something I’ve missed and a simple issue to resolve?

Well, absolutely nothing has changed on my site, or my server, with the exception to the plugin update.
Previously with the last version, the HTML I am sending worked with no issues at all, all CSS appeared on the receiving end etc etc…
However now I have updated to this version, it works brilliantly, and all emails are sent to the recipients. I tested it with myself and when I open the email, the text is there, and an image I inserted in the HTML, But no styling, or real structure via CSS is there.

Hi, some ideas for future about sending e-mail to commented posts users.
1. Some people put incorrect e-mail just to comment, needed issue to delete such e-mails for sending. (or after first sending to delete such e-mails)
2. What about UNsubscribe? some people doesn’t like newsletters and so must be some solution about it. Absence of such function in the e-mail can make a bad reputation for your project, like a spammer!

this is possible, we can add the clock option, instead we can create the cron job..
ex : create the mail and set the user
we have to set the cron job will to execute Evey day midnight .. so the mail will send to all the user on daily basic..

- my html email, was read not correcly by 2 different email client … there are a lot of spaces in beetwhen…

I started to use your 4.0 plugin.
But after reading the comments I used the 3.0.
I can also send a HTML with CSS with 3.0 and not with 4.0.
I started with 4.0 removed that one, then i used 3.0 and then updated to 4.0 but then I cant send HTML with CSS.

2 JON, many people wrote about this problem, as far as I know there is no solution to change it using current version plugin.

I don’t think this plugin works on a multisite wp-3.2.1. There is no registered users, and the subject of inserted mails do not turn up. But, the commenters’ email addresses turn up.

Hello I have included this plugin on a website I developed. When user adds email address and clicks sign up they get an error saying Please try after some time. The email does however register. I have tried to update to latest version but still the same issue.

I have like 1900 registered users, all of the appear correctly before sending the message and once I send it, I get the message:
Email has been sent to user(s), and 999 recipient(s) were originally found.
Message only arrives to the first 999, the others don´t get it.
Could you please check that? We need some customization and are willing to pay for it.

The plugin working fine, it is your server setup. your server allow you to send only 1000 email per day. the remaining email they may send next day. you check with your server.

When I send the newsletter, my username is shown there, and it is admin!!! So thats not so good.

Yeah it makes sense if you’re able to delete users from mailing list but not from your blog. That means that your users can still be registered in your wordpress installation without receiving newsletter mails.
Also, I think international laws say that newsletter must have and option to unsubscribe, I don’t know if a link is needed but you can always manually add to the footer of the newsletter something like “Reply to this e-mail with ‘Unscubscribe’ subject if you don’t want to receive more e-mails”.
Also I saw other similar plugins, they allow users to manage subscription from wordpress admin panel and would be nice to also add an option for buddypress to suscribe/unsubscribe in their profile panel.

this plugin cannot send mail with devnagari content Hindi or marathi. I am getting different symbols in yahoo mail box. in other mail software, half content shown properly and other half in wierd symbols.. plz help.

Previously i used BCC option. but nobody like this (bcos its looks like spam email to end user).
Since there’s no response yet from the admin: In order to add multiple names to the database you have to login into the control panel on your hosting site. Look for the phpmyadmin panel. Click on that and you will be taken to the database files. Look for the one that says wp_eemail_newsletter_sub. Once there look for the tab that says import. Now create an excel file with your email subscribers. You must format the file with the same column names as you see on the database. Save the file and upload it like any other file.

hi this is a great plug-in! i’m trying to change the visual elements of the subscribe box, specifically the wording. i’d like to change the wording, and actually tried to delete the words “Email newsletter” and “Subscribe your email” in the php file. for some reason when i use the widget those words still show up, even though they’ve been deleted from the php file. how do i change the wording in the widget subscribe box?

Hi I dowloaded the email newsletter plugin. and so far looking exactly what i`m after. I just have on problem. when i send the email it. it goes straight into the junk folder because the senders name is noreply (noreply@mysite.com) do you know how to change the sender name details to stop this.
