Deal or announcement with countdown WordPress plugin will display the announcement, deal, offers with countdown timer. admin can add N number of deal at dashboard, only one active deal will display at website front end with countdown timer. this plugin is best suitable to show promotional offers to the user with countdown time.

Installation instruction
Method 1
- Download the plugin deal-or-announcement-with-countdown-timer.zip from download directory.
- Unpack the deal-or-announcement-with-countdown-timer.zip file
- Extract the /deal-or-announcement-with-countdown-timer/ folder.
- Drop the deal-or-announcement-with-countdown-timer folder into your ‘wp-content/plugins’ folder.
- In word press administration panels, click on plug-in from the menu.
- You should see your new deal or announcement with countdown timer plug-in listed.
- To turn the word presses plug-in on, click activate.
Method 2
- Go to ‘add new’ menu under ‘plugins’ tab in your word-press admin.
- Search deal or announcement with countdown timer plugin using search option.
- Find the plugin and click ‘Install Now’ link.
- Finally click activate plug-in link to activate the plug-in.
Method 3
- Download the plugin deal-or-announcement-with-countdown-timer.zip from download link.
- Go to ‘add new’ menu under ‘plugins’ tab in your word press admin.
- Select upload link (top link menu).
- Upload the available deal-or-announcement-with-countdown-timer.zip file and click install now.
- Finally click activate plug-in link to activate the plug-in.

Drag and drop the widget: Go to widget page under appearance tab, Drag and drop deal or announcement with countdown timer widget into your side bar. It’s very easy.
Add directly in the theme: Use this code, <?php if (function_exists (deal_or_announcement_with_countdown_timer_show)) deal_or_announcement_with_countdown_timer_show(); ?> to add the plugin to your theme files.

Q1. Can I display more Deal at same time?
No, you can display one deal at a time with countdown timer.
Q2. Can I customize the color and align style?
Yes, Click on the configure button (small down triangle) for the “deal-or-announcement-with-countdown-timer” widget and here you can customize few front end styles. See screen two.
Q3. Why it show ‘No data available in announcement!’ on front end?
Because there is no Active deal in admin. Go to ‘Deal with countdown’ link under SETTING TAB to add/edit/delete Deal or Announcement or offers.
Q4. why it show ‘Time Out!’ on timer area?
It means countdown timer over, or time finished.

yes your plugin looks good but you should provide a short code so the user can drop it on a page not just side bar!
I have a problem with a countdown in aggregate with SKYPE! Skype’s displaying me a telephone number instead of countdown…

How can we display Months & Weeks at the beginning of the countdown?
Nice plugin, but would be a lot nicer and use full if the content would disappear (so any links to the deals page are gone) or even better gets changed by a new message.
Until eother of those 2 options happen in an update, I consider this plugin useless for me
I install the plugin fine but then when i go setup the date under settings I always get
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
(however i changed the permissions- to 777 actually…)

What is the fix? I see someone else has the same problem?
I will leave this on my site for a few hours, but if it is not fixed by tomorrow, I shall have to find another solution, as this does not look classy at all like your example above. I will try centering text. I told it to left align. Perhaps that is the problem.

I have this plugin installed in my WP network, and when I try to add a date to from the settings menu, I get the message: “No data found! please create using below form!”

Great plugin ! Could it be possible in the future updates to have, first, the possiblity to modify the fonts and size of the countdown numbers and, sencond, be able to make the title clickable so that people can do directly to the offer or event.
