Vertical carousel slideshow WordPress plugin is a good DHTML JavaScript script plugin for the showcasing of images on your site. It displays images in a 3D, carousel fashion. The script is originally taken from dynamic drive website via Google search.
Features of this plugin
- Slideshow can be set to either slide in from top to bottom, or the reverse.
- 4 sided slideshow means, 2 images will be in view at all times (the other 2 behind the scene).
- Slideshow pauses on mouse over.
- A DOM based script that works in modern DHTML browsers – FF, IE5+, NS6+, and Opera 7+.

Installation instruction
Method 1
- Download the plugin vertical-carousel-slideshow.zip from the download link.
- Unpack the *.zip file and extract the /vertical-carousel-slideshow/ folder.
- Drop the vertical-carousel-slideshow folder into your ‘wp-content/plugins’ folder.
- In word press administration panels, click on plug-in from the menu.
- You should see your new horizontal carousel image slideshow plug-in listed.
- To turn the word presses plug-in on, click activate.
Method 2
- Go to ‘add new’ menu under ‘plugins’ tab in your word-press admin.
- Search vertical carousel slideshow using search option.
- Find the plugin and click ‘Install Now’ link.
- Finally click activate plug-in link to activate the plug-in.
Method 3
- Download the plugin vertical-carousel-slideshow.zip from download link.
- Go to ‘add new’ menu under ‘plugins’ tab in your word-press admin.
- Select upload link (top link menu).
- Upload the available vertical-carousel-slideshow.zip file and click install now.
- Finally click activate plug-in link to activate the plug-in.
Plugin configuration
Option 1: Go to widget menu and drag and drop the “Vertical carousel slideshow” widget to your sidebar location. or
Option 2: Copy and past the below mentioned code to your desired template location (i.e In your theme PHP file).

Q1. How to arrange the width & height of the slideshow?
Go to ‘Vertical carousel slideshow’ link under SETTING tab to change these settings.

Go to ‘Vertical carousel slideshow’ link under SETTING tab to change these settings.
Q3. Where to upload my image?
wp-content/plugins/vertical-carousel-slideshow/images/
also you can change the upload location via ‘Vertical carousel slideshow’ setting link.
(Best practice is don’t upload your original image into this default folder instead you change this default path to original path)
Q4. How the slide show manages the order?
The file names are returned in the order in which they are stored by the file system.

i dont know how to upload my pics . only tha sample pics appear in my website .. i realyy dont know how to download my pics from this plug-in . help me please !! asap
Just upload your images into “wp-content\plugins\vertical-carousel-slideshow\images” this directory, and it ll fetch images directly from this folder, in the front remove the cache and check the new uploaded images
i put it in my url the codes that you gave . i dont know how to do it . i followed the instruction but still the sample pics appeared .. i am really upset ! i thought i could upload it easily .. but dont worry, i try my best to work on it !
