Fade in fade out rss feed

Everyone loves fading in and fading out; it is an excellent way to transition between two messages, Fade in fade out rss feed joomla module retrieve the feed title and link from the rss feed and create the fade in and fade out message galley into the website. live demo available on this page.

Module installation instruction

  • Download the fade in fade out rss feed module from the download location.
  • Log into the administrator section of your site.
  • Go to Extensions → Extension Manager.
  • Upload the available zip file.
  • Select it then click upload file and install.

Module configuration/Creating a new module instance

In your Joomla admin go to the module manager (Extensions → Module Manager in your admin menu). You should see the module fade in fade out rss feed listed among the others. Simply click on the module name to open the module editor.

If you cannot find an instance of your new module, click the new button. The new module should be listed among the types available, select fade in fade out rss feed which will create a new instance.

Set up the module parameters

Joomla 1.6.x to Joomla 2.5.x : The right hand column displays parameters that are specific to your module Fade in fade out rss feed. use below mentioned parameters to customize the module.

Joomla 3.0.x : Go to Basic options tab to set up the module parameters. check below screen.

Prefix : Fade in fade out prefix text

Fade in : Fade in time, only number

Fade : Fade time, only number

RSS Feed : Enter the RSS feed url.

Joomla parameters

Title: It is essential to set a title for the module.

Position: The position on the page where the module will be displayed.

Status: The module needs to be published in order for it to display.

Module Assignment: Assign the module to all pages.

    Hi. Good job, but… it doesn’t support codding of Central European fonts…

    excellent work on the local machine. When I switched on the server I got the following error:

      It looks mysql_real_escape_string this PHP method is not working your localhost. try it in the live server.

      In this module we can display only rss title. we will consider this option in the next update.

    Hi, just downloaded module but get the following errors:

    Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in …helper.php on line 39

    Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in …helper.php on line 40


    Please advise. Have tested the rss feed and it works within my browser.

    Hi, excelente extension, but I can not see words with accents. For instance: ã , é, ú, ç and so on. How can I fix it?
